Johnny Depp was transferred, at the full moon, with more than 20 calves, to Langnau b. Reiden (Switzerland/Luzern). A holding centre for Swissgenetics.

He was 2 1/2 months old and not yet weaned.

In isolation for 6-8 weeks.
To avoid contaminating the other bulls there, the herdsmen changed their boots and their clothes as well as disinfecting their hands when entering and leaving the isolation area.

4 weeks after his arrival there was a blood test.
He lives in a box with 7-8 young bulls, in order to favor socialisation.

For this period of growth, he received a diet rich in proteins and energy.

At one year old he had another blood test.

After a wait of 9 1/2 months, he was transferred to quarantine at Anet (Switzerland/Bern).
